ATHLETIC FEES

ALA will not be assessing any athletic participation fees for any sports starting in the fall of 2023.

Starting this summer, ALA will be assessing a $75 summer athletic fee per athlete. This fee pays for summer workouts, training, drills, and league games. Please visit the online payment page to make a payment.

Our summer training starts on Monday, June 5. View the summer workout schedule.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES #4

Is your student looking for volunteer ideas this summer? Here are two community service opportunities.

1. St Vincent de Paul has multiple opportunities for teens/families. (This opportunity was found online)

2. Good Shepherd Bible Camp (GSBC)

This is a great kids camp which ALA students have attended for decades! There are many areas you can support GSBC as a volunteer.

Saturday, July 8 (arrive 4 PM) to Saturday, July 15 (leave Noon)
Angelus Oaks, CA 

(about 5 hours from ALA, in the mountains of CA)

2023 Staff Fee – $60

Things to note:

• Parents: keep in mind that students often put off hours until later, thinking they "have plenty of time" to get them done.
• Make sure you understand the different kinds of service activities as well as the limitations and requirements.
• You know your child best! If he/she is capable of accomplishing service hours without your assistance, great! If not, please assist your child in finding and attending service activities.
