These opportunities will count as "church" hours IF YOU ARE MEMBER at the church where you are serving. If you are not a member there, they would count as "community" hours.
Things to note:
- The due dates for each class vary for 2024.
- Students can start on 2023-24 Service hours now.
- Parents: keep in mind that students often put off hours until later, thinking they "have plenty of time" to get them done. However, upperclassmen recommend that students finish most/all of their service hours over the summer!
- Make sure you understand the different kinds of service activities as well as the limitations and requirements.
- You know your child best! If he/she is capable of accomplishing service hours without your assistance, great! If not, please assist your child in finding and attending service activities.
