Homecoming is one of the most memorable weeks of the year, and we encourage you to share in the planning and fun with your student!
Class Competitions - Sept. 30 - Oct. 4
NOTE: Each day in homeroom, a participation count will be taken for the theme of the day and points will be put toward the week's class competition. Posters and skits will be judged, and various competitions between classes will all result in points for the class, so participation is important!
Monday, September 30
Friday, October 4- Dress-up day: Sleeping Beauties (pajama day)
- Lunchtime competition: Disney Princess/Hero trivia game
- Dress-up day: Mirror Mirror (teachers dress as students and students dress as a specific teacher)
- Afternoon game time: Powder Puff Football (girls), Powder Buff Volleyball (boys)
- both games will be freshmen vs. seniors, and sophomores vs. juniors
- Dress-up day: Prince or Princess - dress as characters OR wear blue or pink for your guess on the gender of baby Wells
- Lunchtime competition relays: Water Bottle Chug, Slurpee Race, and Cookie Face Race
- Afternoon class skits
- Baby Wells gender reveal event (wrestling match)
- Dress-up day: Once Upon a Thursday color or character competition
- Freshman = Tangled or Purple
- Sophomore = Beauty and the Beast or Yellow
- Junior = Princess and the Frog or Green
- Senior = Maleficent or Black
- Afternoon game time
- Musical Chairs
- 4-way dodge ball
- Mario Kart
- Magic Carpet Ride Race
- Bat Spin
- Rubix Cube
- Dress-up day: Big Bad Coyotes (black/gold and Coyote apparel)
- Afternoon pep rally
- Team introductions
- Championship games of Powder Buff and Powder Puff
- Homecoming football game vs. Trivium Prep, 7:00pm (black & gold night)
- Homecoming court announced at halftime of the football game
- Cheer - Pep Band - Concessions - Alumni Tent
- Kids' Carnival brought to you by the Senior Class!
- for children up through grade 8
- ALA students run the games
- on the outdoor basketball courts
- 6:30pm until the end of halftime
- $12 wristband includes unlimited interactive games, prizes, and football admission for kids!
- Want to be part of the action?! Parent volunteers needed on Friday night, Oct, 4.
- Homecoming dance at ALA, 7:00-10:00pm
