STUDENT/PARENT HANDBOOK UPDATES

While the 2026-27 revised Parent &Student Handbook will be made available in the upcoming weeks, we want to make a few updates available to you now: 

Dress Code Updates

Boys

• Pajama-type clothes, including slippers, are not permitted. Tight-fitting shorts or pants are also not permitted.

Girls

• A minimum of a 1” shoulder seam is required on sleeveless shirts. There will be no racer-back tops or tank tops worn, even if the shoulder is 1” or more.

Cell Phone Policy Updates

• Cell phones must be stored in student lockers from 8:00am until 3:00pm. Any phone in the classroom will be taken to the office to be picked up at the end of the day for a $10 fine. A teacher may make a special exception on a given day for a certain project, and the teacher will announce that exception to the class.

Lunch

• Seniors get preferential status for the gym lobby; seniors have it exclusively until Labor Day and afterwards can maintain their selections.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL CLEANING NIGHT

We invite all parents & students to help put the finishing touches and prepare our campus for the start of the school year.

Date: 08/04/2026 (Tue.)
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm 

Please RSVP online to let us know how many in your family will be able to attend our work night!

If possible, parents are encouraged to bring along their own supplies, including rags, buckets, favorite cleaning solutions, step ladders, gloves, etc.

We welcome adults and high school age students (this would count for service hours under the "on-campus hours" category).

It's a great chance to meet new AZ Lutheran family members or renew existing friendships while preparing campus for the first day! Please come when you can and stay for as long as you can!
