If you would like more information, please contact Pastor Bode (Bode@ALAcoyotes.org) soon. Descriptions of these trips are listed below. In addition to several students, one adult would be needed for each trip.

COURSE SELECTION

Students met for the first day of Course Selection. Students were split into groups based on grade level. Each group session went through an informational presentation. Students were directed to
  • Think about what classes are best for them.
  • Ask parents about which classes are best for them.
  • Ask teachers questions about classes and what could be best for them.
  • Each year students have four required classes to take.
  • Each year students have three/four electives to choose. (Choosing four means no study hall.)
Note:
-Some direction was already provided to students about what choices may be good options for them.
-Presentations are shared in a Google Classroom setup for the specific grade levels.
-Ask your student to see the presentation. Other documents are found in that classroom as well.
-Students used a form today to consider the choices they have and indicate what they are initially planning. This is preliminary, not final.
-Students should gather info, listen to parents/teachers and make decisions between now and March 21.
-Students will come back to group sessions on March 21 to choose classes in PowerSchool.
