PRESERVE SCHOOL CHOICE

Dear families and supporters of Arizona Lutheran Academy,

This upcoming election is critically important for Arizona families who believe parents should have the freedom to choose the educational environment that best meets their children’s needs. Arizona has long been a national leader in school choice, and programs like Empowerment Scholarship Accounts and scholarship tax credits have given thousands of families access to options that may otherwise be out of reach.

The outcome of this election will determine whether those opportunities remain protected and available for future generations. For every family that depends on school choice—and for every child whose success depends on the right learning environment - this election is not just another political contest; it is a defining moment for preserving educational freedom in Arizona. We are members of the Arizona Christian Education Coalition (AZCEC), and they and other pro-school choice organizations have tirelessly worked to protect those rights, but we need you to help as well.

Here are some things you can do:
  • Make sure you and your circles of influence vote. Many midterm elections are determined by only a few hundred votes. State legislative elections can be decided by a handful of votes. If everyone in our community goes out and votes – we can make the difference.
  • Know where candidates stand on school choice.
  • If you don’t know what legislative district you are in, you can find out by going to the following link: Simplified District Locator | Citizens Clean Elections Commission. Remember, your vote could be the deciding vote in your district - especially in a midterm election.
  • Forward social media messages we send to you.
  • It takes a lot of money to be able to affect an election and sustain what AZCEC does. If you have a heart to preserve educational freedom, I am sure AZCEC would be more than grateful to receive a donation. If you have a desire to do so, you can go to their webpage and donate.
Thank you once again for your engagement in preserving school choice.

Sincerely,

KURT ROSENBAUM, M.S. Ed

FLAG FOOTBALL PINK OUT

Hope to see you on October 22, 2026 for the Flag Football Pink Out!

While our goal is to raise awareness, this year we have a special opportunity to rally around one of our own Coyote family members.

Mrs. Monique Guerrero, mom of our flag football team manager, is currently battling breast cancer. Monique has been a devoted member of our community for many years, volunteering at school events, serving as team mom for baseball and softball, and faithfully cheering on AZ Lutheran.

During the game, free-will donation baskets (and electronic QR donation codes) will be available to help support the Guerrero family and offset Monique’s ongoing treatment costs. As the apostle Paul encourages us in Galatians 6:10:

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

Wear your pink, bring your family, and come out to support Monique and cheer on our Lady Coyotes!

10.22.26 – Kickoff at 6:00pm
