REV. KIRK MASSEY, JR.

Our gracious Lord has called to his eternal rest the soul of our dear brother, Rev. Kirk Massey, Jr., the father of two alumni and one current ALA student, and pastor at congregations in McNary and Whiteriver, AZ. Pastor Massey passed away suddenly at his home this week.

This is a time of mourning and sadness for the Massey family and friends. However, the faith in Christ that we share gives us hope — hope built on the love of God, the salvation won for us by Jesus Christ, and the assurance that Kirk is resting forever in the arms of his Savior. Jesus comforted Martha at the death of Lazarus with these words of hope in John 11:25-26, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."  —President Doug Meyer
