ALA is seeking an individual to work in the Student Success Department alongside Mrs. Hartzell. The duties involved would be working one-on-one or in small groups with students on their academic needs (explaining concepts in math, science, religion, etc.), creating study materials, and spending one school period assisting in the Foundations of Math class with Mrs. Johnson. While no previous experience is required, background in teaching, special education, and/or working closely with teenagers would be of great benefit! This is a part time position (10am - 3pm) and ideally would begin November 27, 2023.
